The complex has 24 hour security, and a carport.

The complex is very safe for children. The beach which is a 5 minute walk from the apartment has a safe tidal pool and life guards on duty.

There are 5 restaurants, a Spar shop, pharmacy, petrol station, liquor store, post office, all a mere 3 minutes away.

The Sibaya casino is a 5 minute drive and features gambling, night club, theatre as well as several restaurants and a children's entertainment centre.

The Gateway Theatre of Shopping is south of Umdloti and a mere 8 minutes drive.

Durban International airport is a 30 minute drive south. Take the N2 or the M4 north from Durban.
